Phil Chalmers is a youth advocate and America's Leading Authority on Juvenile Homicide and Juvenile Mass Murder. He has been writing books and speaking since 1985, speaking at schools, state and national conferences, and local training seminars. During the first 20 years of Phil's speaking career he focused on youth culture and negative entertainment, but since 2005 has also explored teen violence and school safety.

Phil has appeared in numerous media outlets, including Montel Williams, Howard Stern, People Magazine, The E! Entertainment Network, and hundreds of local radio and television affiliates, including NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, FOX NEWS, and more. Phil can currently be seen on the E! Network shows "Billionaire Crime Scenes" and "Too Young To Kill." He can be also seen on SPIKE TV's Saturday morning crime series "Don't Be A Victim," and will be on the show about school shootings September 11th. Phil is known for his edgy, out-of-the box live presentations, both entertaining and shocking at the same time. Watch a preview of his assembly curriculum. Chalmers is the author of many books and DVD's, including his latest major release "Inside the Mind of a Teen Killer," a hardcover offering from Thomas Nelson. His latest DVD project is his school assembly called "Shock and Awe." He also has just released his school assembly Power Point presentation for the first time in 25 years titled "20/20 Blind."

Phil is married to Barb and has two sons, and he resides in the Cleveland, Ohio area. His hobbies include mixed martial arts, weightlifting, fast cars, stock car racing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Phil works for the Brimfield, Ohio police department as their juvenile diversion specialist, and works closely with the Chief, the DARE officer, as well as the SRO.
