Juvenille Homicide Training

Phil Chalmers' live seminar "Why Teens Kill: Warning Signs, Causes, Triggers and Prevention" is classroom based and jammed with media, including hundreds of crime scene photos, original videos, suspect interrogations, and information known only to the killer and law enforcement. This seminar is fast-paced and covers over 50 juvenile homicide cases, including school shootings, family killings, thrill killings, mall shootings, cult killings, gang shootings, and media-inspired murders.

This course will teach attendees the top ten reasons why teens kill, the six types of teen killers, the warning signs that were missed, the triggers that cause kids to finally make the move, and ways we can keep our communities and schools safe. THIS CLASS IS A MUST FOR EVERY PARENT, JUVENILE OFFICER, SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR, YOUTH COUNSELOR, POLICE OFFICER, AND ANYONE WHO COMES IN CONTACT WITH JUVENILES, WHICH, QUITE FRANKLY, IS ALL OF US! Phil will also take attendees back in time with the history of teen murder and school violence, and will take attendees into the minds of teen killers, and into their culture, showing attendees what kinds of music, movies, and video games kids today absorb.

Some of the cases featured in this year's seminar inlcude a mall shooting, school shootings, murders commtted by children as young as 7-years-old, thrill killings, and sex killings. Phil will cover the 15 warning signs, the 10 causes of teen murder, the triggers that cause teens to kill, and strageties for prevention. This seminar is loaded with crime scene photos, interviews with first responders and homicide detectives, and the killers themselves. Every attendee will take home a valuable seminar booklet to refer back to after the seminar. The most common feedback from Phil's live seminar is "I wish Phil had more time to speak" and "This was the best training seminar I have been to in my entire career.

Phil Chalmers provides a side of teen murder that nobody else can provide, and that is the description of the crimes from the killers themselves, and the motivation about why teenagers are committing homicide at an alarming rate, nearly 5 murders per day. Phil will also answer the questions "what did the police do right, what did the police do wrong, and what did the school do right or wrong?" Phil also warns attendees that his seminar is real, edgy, and graphic, and the content may be disturbing for some attendees. All of this information is passed along to those in attendance with one goal in mind: To educate the public with the hope that we can stop these future murders and massacres, and make the world a safer place for our children, as well as the elderly, school administrators, and police officers.

School Assembly Program

Phil Chalmers also performs school assemblies, but he does not teach the students about juvenile homicide. Instead, he addresses destructive decisions, and his fast-paced and funny assembly will get your students thinking about the decisions they will be making in middle school and high school. Topics covered are numerous, and include sexual abstinence, avoiding drug use, the dangers of drunk driving, the dangers of using tobacco, violence prevention, the dangers of bullying, teen suicide, violent entertainment, online dangers, crime prevention, and how to respect yourself and other students. Most school administrators and principals tell Phil they have never heard their student body so quiet during an assembly, and a typical response from students is that Phil kept it real, and we wished he had more time. One student said "You saved a life today at the talk you did at my school-MINE. Thanks for saving my life" and another said "It will be two years since I stopped using drugs. I still thank God every day for having you come to my town two years ago. If it wasn't for you man, I wouldn't be here."

Make a difference in your school, and your community, and bring Phil Chalmers into your school system. Phil addresses both middle school and high school, and can also speak to parents. This not only is a good idea to get your students thinking about the decisions they will be facing in life, but it will keep your school safer, as Phil addresses bullying, school safety, and the consequences of school violence.

Featured Guest Speakers

Phil Chalmers is tour in 2011, 2012, and 2013 with 3 guests on his tour. Touring with Phil is good friend and longtime touring partner rap artist Wise. Wise not only can rap, but he is a very inspirational speaker. Wise can reach those hard to reach students with his message of hope, and life change. Wise was raised by a drug family in Brookly, the same drug family that Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace belonged to. Wise has never met his father, grew up robbing drug houses, and spent time in Rikkers Island. Today, he is married, and has five children of his own. His work has been featured on the latest 2Pac documentary, and Wise wrote and starred in the movie "Segragation Sunday." Also on tour with Phil will be 18-year-old rap artist Double A, who is a crowd favorite with the school crowds. He is a great entertainer, and his music style is similar to popular rap artist Lil Wayne. Also on some select tour dates is a teen named Jeff, who was bullied for 8 years, and will share the devastating consequences of bullying, and the life-changing decision he made three years ago. You students will relate to his story, and will listen to his advice.
