Phil recently had the opportunity to attend the Psychopathic Records concert in Cleveland, Ohio, the label owned by Insane Clown Posse. Several of their bands were performing, and Phil had backstage passes and was on the guest list. He had the chance to meet several of the bands backstage, and interview MARS in his dressing room. MARS is a violent rapper that was the favorite of the Red Lake, Minnesota school shooter Jeff Weise, who killed several people then himself. Phil picked Mars brain, and as always, tried to encourage him to see how his music could have a negative effect, and Phil encouraged him to make more positive music. We will see if this has any effect. Photos attached are of Phil and Mars during their meeting, two fans of these horror-core rappers, and several children who attended the violent and obscenity-laced affair. |

Phil is waiting for his new book to hit streets in May of 2009, so not one to rest and relax, Phil Chalmers and rapper Wise are currently working on a DVD and CD project called "Shock and Awe," to be released in December, just in time for Phil's 2009 US Tour. The package will include a DVD of Phil speaking at a school and the viewers will see several of Phil's videos. The package will also include a 10 song CD by rapper Wise, who is an aggressive but positive rapper who grew up with Notorious B.I.G. and has spent time in Rikers Island. Check Phil's tour schedule to see his upcoming dates in Atlantic City, New Jersey and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Both are "Inside the Mind of a Teen Killer" shows. Phil has also just booked several dates in Ohio, Missouri and Indiana, and they will be posted on his website soon. |

Phil has just added several new cases to his teen killer seminar, including Jacob Robida, the ICP fan who killed two people and himself in a shootout with police. He has also just added several pieces from the crime file of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, of Columbine, and includes their drawings, artwork and their school class work. Plenty of warning signs were here that were never noticed. Someone must not have been looking! |
