2. Recent Teen Murders

Teen murders continue to climb, and although they don't usually make national news, Phil has found quite a few teen murders in the last few weeks. Here are a couple of recent cases that caught Phil's attention, and for more information, just Google or Yahoo the offender's names.

-Ethan Welch, 15, in Columbus, Georgia, beat his grandmother in the backyard, bit her, and stabbed her with a fireplace poker and a knife in the throat and stomach, killing her. After committing the murder, he placed the body in a shed, and returned to the home to continue playing video games. He was arrested and told police he accidentally killed his grandmother.

-A 10-year-old male in Belen, New Mexico shot his father to death, killing him with his own rifle. The reason for the murder was the boy told police that his father was disciplining him too often and too harshly. The boy's six-year-old sister also witnessed the shooting.

-Labrina Brown, a 13-year-old female, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin killed her step-grandfather after the man poured her milk down the drain. The girl was angered and stabbed the man in the neck, killing him. There was a history of abuse at the home, and when police arrived, the young girl told them "I killed him" and told a neighbor "I'm not afraid to go to jail for this." She had threatened the man with knives before, this is the number one warning sign according to Phil Chalmers.

-Daniel Williams, 18, in Bradenton, Florida, shot and killed a 17-year-old female cheerleader to death while sitting in a car with three other females. There was a heated argument, and Williams pulled out a gun, started waving it, and shot the female in the head, killing her.
